Q: What should I do if I have a dental problem during Covid 19 lockdown?
Posted on 16th April 2020 at 10:51
A: .Due to the coronavirus pandemic, and following advice from the Government and our regulatory bodies, the practice is currently available for urgent care only.
Urgent care can be defined as:
• Uncontrolled bleeding following an extraction
• Facial swelling
• Pain which is not controlled with your usual painkillers
The on-call dentist is available to speak to during normal practice opening hours, between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. You will speak to either Christopher Holden or Anita Patel. The telephone number to call them on is 07856 287543. If you would like a video consultation, please let the on-call dentist know when you call.
Outside these hours please telephone NHS 111 for advice.
If you are a Denplan patient and have supplementary insurance and have a dental emergency you can contact Denplan’s 24 hour Worldwide Dental Emergency helpline on 0800 844 999.
